Precision Security Consulting, Inc. ("PSC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use www.psc-consultant.com, purchase our on-demand training, or contact us, how we use that information, and the choices you have about it.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you purchase a course (with or without creating an account), create an account, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give it, billing details, company name and job title if you give them, and anything else you include in a message or support request. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor. PSC does not receive or store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you use the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of access, and the referring page. For training, we also record course progress, such as which modules you have started or completed, quiz results, and completion records.
Cookies and similar technologies. The site and our hosting platform use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use analytics and advertising tools, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, that may use cookies to measure visits and ad performance. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not work as a result.
Do Not Track. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to deliver the training you purchased and track your progress; process payments, refunds, and account requests; respond to questions and provide support; send transactional emails about your purchase and access; send occasional emails about new courses and updates, which you can opt out of at any time; improve the site and our training using aggregated usage data; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows.
Service providers. We share information with providers that help us run the site and the training, including our hosting and course platform (Wix.com), our payment processor, our email service, and analytics and advertising providers. They may use it only to provide services to PSC.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or legal process, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of PSC, our customers, or others.
Business transfers. If PSC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any choices you have.
With your consent. We may share information with your consent or at your direction.
Third-Party Services
Each of our providers has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. Links on our site to other websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We keep your information while your account or access is active and as long as needed to provide the training and support. Purchase records, access records, and completion records are kept for seven (7) years or longer if required by tax, accounting, or legal rules. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete or anonymize what we are not required to keep.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional emails about your purchase and access are not subject to opt-out. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we will honor requests as that law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Children's Privacy
The site and training are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
International Users
PSC operates from the United States. If you use the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We will post material changes on this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
